We would like to point out that there is no elevator or wheelchair space in the Kammeroper.

The exact duration of the performance as well as the number of pauses will be published on the corresponding production page approximately one week before the premiere or event.

The Kammeroper opens one hour before the performance begins. We ask you to arrive early to avoid queues. The auditorium will open 30 minutes before the performance starts so that you can take your seats.

Late admission

Out of consideration for our visitors, you will have to wait until the intermission for late admission.

The Kammeroper has a surtitle system at the upper stage portal.

There is no standing room in the Kammeroper.

For safety reasons, children are not allowed to sit on laps. Theater visitors must each have their own ticket and seat.

For their own safety (due to volume, duration of performances, etc.), children under the age of three are not permitted to attend our performances - even when accompanied by a parent or guardian or other adult. Depending on the type and program of the events, Vereinigte Bühnen Wien GmbH reserves the right to change the admission age for selected events, taking into account health criteria as well as the developmental stage of young children.

Every year at Christmas time, starting with the 22/23 season, music theater for young & all now takes place on the big stage of the Theater an der Wien. These performances are explicitly recommended for children 6 years and older. Details of the Theater an der Wien's first family opera in the MuseumsQuartier | Halle E can be found in the schedule.

The bar in the Kammeroper is open before the performance and during the intermission.

Late Night

After each "Late Night" performance, the bar in the Kammeroper is open for a meet & greet with the artists.
