The excitement is intense! Because when we move back onto Linke Wienzeile for the new season, we’ll find a theatre that is shiny and new yet still exudes the magic of its past. Bravissimo! is an opportunity to discover both at the same time, explore rooms old and new, take a peek behind the scenes and even travel through time! And of course there’ll be no shortage of fun, excitement and music! Along the way, Sebastian Brand and Florian Stanek combine interesting insights into the theatre’s architecture and history with an action-packed challenge for every visitor aged 6 and above. On this wide-ranging expedition through all aspects of musical theatre we bring some of the stars to life who have left their mark on the Theater an der Wien during its 200-year-plus existence. Stage fright, frenetic applause and the magic of the theatre are guaranteed – and we look forward to welcoming our guests, both young and evergreen, along with all the theatrical novices, opera veterans, divas, maestros and “philistines"!
