TaWumm! Workshops

On 04.05.2024 I IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE KINDERKULTURPARCOURS

TaWumm! was once again part of the KinderKulturParcours at the MuseumsQuartier this year. On Saturday 4 May, workshops for the whole family took place around the family opera The Little Prince. There was dancing, painting and singing.

These were our free workshops at the KinderKulturParcours:

Planeten & Prinz*essinnen
The music of the MusikTheater an der Wien's new family opera The Little Prince sounds light as a feather and magically romantic, but what does the planet our prince comes from sound like and what do the various other planets sound like? What do they look like? Together with lots of bright colours and inspired by works from the mumok collection, we were able to immerse ourselves in an unknown world, get to know fascinating mythical creatures and create our own creative works of art. In co-operation with the mumok and musically accompanied by our musician Evelyn Mair.

TaWhoop - Sing & Swing
The sand trickles, it crashes and rattles - the story of the little prince begins with the emergency landing of a pilot in the Sahara. But what happens next? We embarked on a musical journey from planet to planet and playfully immersed ourselves in the sounds of the family opera The Little Prince. We met a sheep, a snake and even migratory birds. We listened to the melodic songs and joined in ourselves. And we sang loudly! This workshop was accompanied by singing and movement teachers Kathi Adamcyk and Barbara Maierl.

See for yourself!
