schwarze nachthelle

Ausblick

The programme cycle “4 phases of the day 2018-22” concludes this sea - son with the fourth part, BLACK BRIGHTNESS OF NIGHT. We spread out our centuries-old opera cosmos with its eternally sparkling works one last time and invite you on a voyage into this world. Our 21/22 programme contains a total of 24 premieres – including eleven staged musical theatre productions and ten concert performances plus three semi-staged special projects from our Junges Ensemble des Theater an der Wien at the Kam - meroper (JET). With the diversity of our programmes since 2006 we have been able to offer you captivating musical theatre of the highest quality, concerts with well-known operas and unusual works that merit rediscovery, as well as numerous special projects. I therefore wish to delight and enthral our loyal au - dience with one last selection of works, carefully chosen as ever, from 1600 to 2022. In addition there is the 13th cabaret in the “Hölle” and an exhibition of the fifteen years of my directorship. As always, I will use the preview of the sea - son to present the artists, collaborators from recent years and this season’s new guests.
