"Off to make-up" is also the motto for the youngest artists. Children will not only get to know the make-up artists of the MusikTheater an der Wien, but also the animals from Leoš Janáček's opera Das schlaue Füchslein. Whether a dragonfly is painted on the cheek or their face made up as a fox, frog or rooster is decided by the children themselves.

In the workshop "Amahl Rhythm & Paint", music and painting merge. A percussionist not only plays melodies from the family opera Amahl und die nächtlichen Besucher, but also presents the versatility of his instrument. In the studio, the audience can create their own works of art to the music.

Participatory workshop for young & all

Listen, move and experience is the motto of the workshop "TaWhoop - Sing & Swing!". Together we will immerse ourselves in the sounds of the family opera Amahl und die nächtlichen Besucher. We will get to know the two best-known songs and study simple choreographies for them. A participatory workshop for children from 6 years.

Young & all have the unique opportunity to work in the props department themselves and make a souvenir of the opera Das schlaue Füchslein.
