Musical theatre also offers many interesting career opportunities away from the boards that mean the world. We look forward to offering people with a passion for opera internships, insights into rehearsals and training opportunities, and prospective artists a first glimpse at the world of theatre. Practical experience can be gained in the following areas, among others: directing, sets, costume design, dramaturgy, coaching, conducting, sound engineering and marketing.
Reduced tickets for students can be booked online from three weeks before the respective performance date: theater-wien.at/eduticket Registration is required for booking. After registration, the discount is automatically offered at the time of purchase. Upon presentation of a valid ID, the reduced tickets can also be purchased at the MusikTheater an der Wien evening box office in the Theater an der Wien or in the Kammeroper. The reduction is valid until the age of 27.
